What do you include in a profile video? We’ve found you can develop a really good profile video by answering just four basic questions:
- How did you get started doing what you do? (The origin, spark or influence comes out here.)
- Why do you keep doing it? (We hear the ongoing motivation or how the rewards of the job have changed for the subject.)
- How do you know you’ve had a good day? (This reveals what makes your tail wag – it is common to get some overlap with the second question, but you’d be surprised by how the shift in the question digs deeper into the answer.)
- How do you want other people to describe you/your company? (Some will answer this logically, with deliverables and “here’s what I do” while others will be more emotional. Both are valid and reflective of the way a person approaches what they do.)
