It was a fairy tale ending for our own Samuel Tressler, IV in this year’s 72Fest. The associate editor from Digital Bard was a first-time entrant in the Frederick, MD competition, which gives filmmakers three days — from Thursday night to Sunday night — to write, shoot, edit and submit a film.
Sam won the “Best Use of Fairy Tale Theme” award from author Alice Hoffman during the final screenings on October 8 and 9, 2010 for “The Man and His Robot.” Sam was also a finalist in several other categories, including Cinematography, Writing and Acting.
