As part of their new Hip & Historic campaign, the Frederick Tourism Office wanted to showcase bicycling in Frederick County, Maryland. In order to capture the vastness of experiences available, we created a music video featuring places you could go, things your could do and things you could see when you are on a bike ride. 

Mini-documentary brings big production challenges

Digital Bard team in Equatorial GuineaI had the opportunity to travel to Africa’s west coast in May to create a 10-minute video documenting the rapid transformation taking place in the small sub-Saharan country of Equatorial Guinea. The crew spent two weeks shooting 20 interviews of local business, government, and biodiversity experts, along with capturing a wide variety of video and stills of the country. The final video turned out absolutely great. However, none of it would have been possible without making the necessary preparations prior to traveling to this exotic location.

From blank canvas to artist's signature in under 3 minutes

Twenty-eight juried artists from 17 states graced the streets of downtown Frederick between June 18 - 21.  Artists set up their easels and painted en plein air - outside, using natural light, in hopes of capturing a portion of the $14,000 in cash prizes. We set up a camera to capture one of them in action.
